Key Responsibilities:

Engineer will be responsible for research, development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost. Designs will be accomplished using world-class, three-dimensional solid modeling CAD tools and work will be accomplished with senior-level design engineers.

Some of the key responsibilities include:
  • Researching projects to determine proper approaches
  • Conceptual development and preparation of engineering drawings
  • Generation of presentation materials for design reviews and customer-facing meetings
  • Coordination of design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil Engineering or related field with six (6) years of aircraft design-related experience is required. Alternatively, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with four (4) years of aircraft design-related experience or a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience may be considered. Experience in creating documents and presenting technical material, working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to walk to and from the flight line are also essential. The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
