Assurance Technology is seeking a highly skilled Field Support Specialist to join our team in Jamesburg, CA. This is a full-time opportunity that requires providing field support as part of a team responsible for several ground antennas used in RF testing.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to maintain custody of equipment, inventory, and perform basic site maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with off-site project managers and leads, receiving and shipping items, and performing on-call emergency repairs/resets promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all onsite equipment is properly maintained, including inventory, custodianship, and associated paperwork.
  • Site Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain: Receive, ship, store, and maintain parts onsite, ensuring timely delivery of essential materials.
  • Emergency Response: Provide prompt and efficient on-call support for emergency repairs and resets, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Grounds Upkeep: Perform routine cleaning, adjustment, and limited repair/reset of systems, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications and Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with experience in Radios, Satellites, Electromagnetic Spectrum, or small circuitry a plus.
  • Availability: Must be able to provide reliable on-call support within one-hour recall time of the site, adhering to a coordinated schedule.
  • Citizenship: US Citizen with ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
