Position Overview

Audubon is in search of a Senior Project Engineer to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in steering the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and successful completion of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and commitments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Exhibit outstanding communication and organizational abilities.
  • Adhere to and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure proper approvals on all deliverables prior to issuance, including thorough quality checks.
  • Guarantee timely issuance of deliverables.
  • Prepare change order requests as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate change order estimates under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Review or document meeting minutes from project discussions.
  • Oversee the preparation of project status reports.
  • Manage lists of project action items, Requests for Information (RFIs), and close-out punch lists.
  • Facilitate both internal and external project meetings as necessary.
  • Coordinate Management of Change (MOC) efforts.
  • Develop and refine workflows for project support teams.
  • Encourage effective communication across multiple disciplines.
  • Address and resolve any project audit deficiencies.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of project specifications.
  • Resolve daily project challenges and emergencies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher.
  • Preferred: Degree from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of field experience, particularly in the offshore oil and gas sector or related industries such as onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing, or refining.
  • Experience serving as the lead engineer on medium to large-scale multi-discipline projects.
  • PMP certification and PE license are recommended.
  • Fundamental understanding of multi-discipline deliverables, procurement, and construction processes.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities within a team environment.
