**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior Nursing Education Specialist at NHS Management Services. Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Job:

This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive education programs that meet the needs of our clinical staff. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of adult learning principles, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and delivering education sessions to new and tenured staff members
• Developing and maintaining accurate records of staff competency assessments and evaluations
• Collaborating with directors and other healthcare professionals to determine skills assessed for competency
• Planning and evaluating ongoing education to meet organizational needs
• Serving as a professional resource for internal and external customers

Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to:

• Implement and monitor orientation programs for all new employees according to policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements
• Review and compare nursing exception reports to schedules and hall assignments
• Post daily staffing requirements in compliance with state regulations and facility budget
• Participate in monthly QA meetings and daily morning meetings

Key qualifications for this role include:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse by state requirement
• Experience in long-term care or working with geriatric populations as a Staff Development Nurse is highly preferred
• At least three years of nursing experience
• Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately for other purposes
• Skill in organizing and planning programs and managing personnel to provide nursing service for residents
• Ability to plan and direct the department, coordinating with other departments

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
