Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freightliner Northwest Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting on-road and customer on-site maintenance services, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-road and customer on-site maintenance services, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy-duty equipment.
  • Run diagnostic tests and analyze results to determine unit condition and identify deficiencies.
  • Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Develop technical skills through training opportunities and stay up-to-date with the latest industry technologies.
  • Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the mobile service truck and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Heavy equipment dealership experience is preferred, with a minimum of two years of experience in truck repair.
  • Three years of actual truck repair experience is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a team player mentality are essential.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability are required.
  • CDL-A is a plus.
  • A full complement of tools is required for diesel equipment repair.
