Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and sustain highly scalable and dependable backend services utilizing cloud-native technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with frontend engineers and various teams to guarantee seamless integration.
  • Select and implement suitable cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI) for application development and deployment.
  • Enhance backend systems for optimal performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish robust security protocols to safeguard data and maintain application integrity.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex backend challenges.
  • Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in cloud technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud backend software development.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and constructing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based applications.
  • Strong command of backend programming languages, particularly Java.
  • Familiarity with specific cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI).
  • Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., NoSQL, relational databases).
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Comprehensive understanding of backend technologies (e.g., APIs, message queues).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a team setting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevOps methodologies and practices.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures.
