Key Responsibilities:- Integrate with the development team focusing on specific game areas.
- Organize the testing cycle for designated game features.
- Establish testing criteria based on project backlog items.
- Collaborate in the formulation of Test Plans for extensive features that involve multiple areas.
- Serve as the testing authority for assigned teams.
- Prepare and organize testing sessions for your content, ensuring readiness for quality assurance.
- Monitor game defects and issues within our workflow to guarantee resolution.
- Confirm bug fixes and maintain an updated database.
- Deliver qualitative insights to the development team regarding player engagement and usability.
- Work collaboratively across various disciplines to drive the game to completion.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of game design and intricate features.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in game testing, particularly on PC platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of game and software development processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and possessing a robust work ethic.
- A genuine passion for video games.
- Experience with MMORPG titles.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Proficient in writing Acceptance Criteria.
- Experienced with Jira software.
- A commitment to continuous learning and process enhancement.
The interview process for this position will include the following steps:
- A 30-minute discussion with a member of our Talent Team.
- A 60-minute interview with the Hiring Manager and team members.
- A final interview with the Executive Team.
- Reference checks and a background verification.
We offer competitive compensation aligned with market standards, complemented by a substantial annual bonus structure. The salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $77,000, contingent on experience and skill set. Compensation decisions consider various factors, including experience level and internal equity.
