**Job Specifications:**

* Current Tennessee Nurse Practitioner License
* ACNP preferred
* Previous cardiac experience preferred
* Current certification by a national certification organization required
* Current DEA certification required
* Current malpractice insurance policy required
* CPR certification, ACLS certification required

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

* Must be knowledgeable regarding patient care plans
* Excellent communication skills
* Must be organized, responsible, motivated, and self-directed
* Must be able to multitask and deal with difficult situations
* Must be able to handle stressful situations
* Ability to review laboratory and x-ray reports and report results to physician or have the ability to evaluate the results and take appropriate medical action
* Must be able to remain compliant with state laws and scope of practice
