Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital. As an ER/Inpatient RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Medical-Surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, evaluating, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for assigned patients.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, managers, supervisors, and coworkers, ensuring seamless patient care and workflow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, maintaining a safe clinical environment and adhering to facility policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current and valid licensure with the Texas State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
  • 2 years of nursing experience in the Medical/Surgical area, with orthopedic experience preferred.
  • BLS certification, with ability to achieve ACLS and PALS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, with additional languages preferred.
