**Job Summary**

At University Health, we are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist PRN to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist PRN, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive treatment programs for inpatients and outpatients. You will also provide supervision of patient care duties delegated to non-professional staff and assist with managerial, administrative, and educational duties as assigned by the Rehab Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Plan, develop, and implement professionally competent, comprehensive individual and group treatment programs for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Provide supervision of patient care duties delegated to non-professional staff.
  • Assist with managerial, administrative, and educational duties as assigned by the Rehab Manager.
  • Perform professional, competent occupational therapy treatment programs and related documentation on all assigned patients in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Participate with other members of the health care team to facilitate maximum patient benefit and efficiency.
  • Participate in and contribute to educational programs.
  • Assist with evaluation and supervision of aides, volunteers as assigned.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must maintain current licensure to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist as issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. New graduates may qualify with a Speech and Language Pathologist Intern license, pending full licensure in accordance with ASHA and Texas State Board of Examiner requirements.
