The Revenue Optimization Specialist plays a crucial role in managing room inventory to enhance revenue generation while ensuring data accuracy and improving automation within the reservation system.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of competitive analysis and supporting documentation for market sales strategy discussions.
- Manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, effectively communicating strategies to relevant properties.
- Conduct comprehensive month-end reporting and auditing for Revenue Management, providing insights for forecasting and financial planning.
- Generate, process, and maintain all property and market Revenue Management reports, serving as the primary resource for reporting and analytical needs.
- Support system maintenance tasks, including inputting rate hurdles, monitoring demand forecasts, and updating group forecasting.
- Facilitate training for new team members on revenue management tools and assist in implementing hotel sales strategies within reservation systems.

Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
