Inventory Management Specialist

Job Summary:
The Inventory Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of store inventory and processing. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for the Cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Receive, count, and document inventory deliveries
- Perform weekly or biweekly inventory/cycle counts
- Inform store managers of upcoming inventory needs
- Merchandising and restocking
- Clerical tasks including accurate filing, compiling, and maintaining inventory and records
- Train and supervise Inventory Associates
- Monitor expired product and identifying stagnant inventory
- Place orders for processing room materials using company PO system
- Periodic audits of product labels, pricing, transfers, reconciliations, etc. to ensure adherence with established TRP protocol
- Maintain clean and organized processing room
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' retail experience
- Strong analytical skills to assess data, facts and figures
- Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Thorough understanding of the Cannabis industry

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This employee is required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
