Seattle, Washington, United States One Medical Full time

About One Medical

At One Medical, we're challenging the status quo of traditional primary care. Our mission is to deliver exceptional healthcare experiences that are affordable, accessible, and enjoyable for all.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our lab services team, you will play a critical role in providing an exceptional experience for our patients by delivering top-notch venipuncture services, specimen collection, and clinical support.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing best-in-class venipuncture services for patients of all ages
  • Performing and assisting with extended scope duties, including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
  • Maintaining high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Dispensary responsibilities, including verifying counts, maintaining inventory, placing orders, receiving, stocking, filling, packaging, and labeling prescriptions for patient pick-up
  • Caring for members beyond the lab room by answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting providers and virtual medical teams with clerical duties

We're looking for someone who embodies our C-I-CARE values in every interaction: compassion, integrity, communication, accessibility, respect, and empathy. If you're a strong communicator, problem solver, and team player with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we want to hear from you

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • An active phlebotomy certification in WA and at least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (additional experience with remote teams a plus)

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $24 per hour, based on a standard full-time schedule. Total compensation packages may vary based on individual factors, such as skill sets, depth of experience, and work location. Benefits include paid sabbatical after 5 and 10 years, Employee Assistance Program, free One Medical memberships, pre-tax commuter benefits, PTO cash outs, and more.

Join Our Team

If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and working in a dynamic, growing company, we encourage you to apply. We can't wait to welcome you to our team
