About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our Power Delivery team at Salt River Project. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the generation and delivery of sustainable and flexible power to the Valley of the Sun.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an advisor and mentor to less experienced Designers and Engineers
  • Perform design reviews and lead special project estimating and scoping
  • Conduct peer and 3rd party reviews using PLS-CADD analysis
  • Lead structural engineering for Transmission Structures and perform optimization analysis
Requirements
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
  • Additional specialty training (MS Engineering, MBA, or 18 graduate level college semester hours from an accredited institution in an engineering related field)
  • Ten (10) years full time professional experience actively engaged in engineering practice
  • Demonstrated network of internal and external contacts including customers, outside agencies, and suppliers of significant equipment and services
