Job Overview:
GEA Process Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Metal Fabricator and Welder to join our team. This role requires expertise in advanced welding techniques, metal fabrication, and quality control.

About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex welds on various materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel. They will also be required to build metal components and structures based on detailed blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex welds on materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
  • Build metal components and structures following detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Use and maintain advanced welding equipment, and plasma cutters.
  • Inspect welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet specifications and resolve any defects.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines, maintaining both quality and efficiency.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred or 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication, with proficiency in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding techniques.
  • Experience reading blueprints and fabricating complex components.
  • Expertise in TIG and MIG welding
  • Able to fabricate metal components based on blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong quality control skills, including the ability to inspect work and troubleshoot defects.
