About the Role

Entegee, a leading provider of custom automation solutions, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join its team. This exciting opportunity involves analyzing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Purpose: To leverage your expertise in manufacturing engineering to drive process improvements, streamline production, and contribute to the company's growth.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze existing manufacturing methods and identify areas for improvement
  • Design and optimize workspace layout and equipment placement to increase efficiency
  • Collaborate with design and planning teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Engage with vendors to procure necessary equipment and supplies
  • Evaluate production times, staffing needs, and costs to optimize resource allocation
  • Consult with management to develop strategies for process improvement and problem-solving
  • Apply statistical methods for forecasting manufacturing requirements and implementing automation strategies
  • Lead or participate in Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain key performance indicators for process optimization and quality control
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, conducting root cause analysis for quality issues when necessary
  • Manage manufacturing projects, including scheduling and budgeting
  • Provide technical support to resolve complex issues and develop training materials for personnel
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in machining, fabrication, and/or assembly, preferably with stainless steel
  • Green Belt certified or higher, Black Belt preferred
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and knowledge of automation strategies
Pay Details

$85,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
