Manufacturing Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
BS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in machining, fabrication, and/or assembly (preferably stainless steel)
Green Belt certified or higher (Black Belt preferred)
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge of automation strategies
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze and improve manufacturing methods
Design and optimize workspace layout and equipment placement
Collaborate with design and planning teams
Engage with vendors for equipment procurement
Estimate production times, staffing needs, and costs
Consult with management to facilitate production processes
Apply statistical methods for forecasting manufacturing requirements
Implement automation strategies to streamline production
Lead or participate in Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen events
Monitor key performance indicators for process optimization
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues
Manage manufacturing projects including scheduling and budgeting
Provide technical support to resolve complex issues
Develop training materials and conduct sessions for personnel on new processes or equipment
Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
