The BIM Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and functionality of BIM processes within the office. Candidates should possess outstanding organizational, collaborative, and communication skills, along with a proactive attitude towards leadership and project management. A meticulous approach to quality and a strong focus on project logistics will be vital in this position.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with IT to establish and refine processes for model maintenance, storage, and access to necessary tools and equipment.
- Provide ongoing support to BIM users, including training, answering inquiries, and assisting with modeling techniques.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, manage file organization, and create models for diverse building types.
- Work alongside consultants and partner firms to formulate BIM execution plans and workflows.
- Engage proactively in project development, offering innovative ideas and solutions to address project challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the capacity to gain support from clients and project teams.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to conduct research and apply findings to specific project needs.
- Proven understanding of technical project development and documentation workflows, with significant experience in producing construction documents.
- Experience across all phases of the design process, including Construction Administration.
- Demonstrated work ethic, resourcefulness, and proactive nature.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to achieving design excellence.
- Professional Degree in Architecture.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Registration is preferred.
- IT experience is advantageous.
- At least two (2) professional references.
