Job Description

This Substance Use Counselor position involves assisting patients through medically assisted programs and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction. The ideal candidate will conduct group and individual sessions to address crisis management and coping strategies, evaluate patient progress, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification or licensure as a CAC-AD, CPC-AD, LCPC, LADAC, or ADT from the State of Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists
  • Associate's degree in counseling or a related field
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
