Description:

Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. is seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician to provide school-based therapy to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

* Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students
* Conduct diagnostic psychosocial evaluations and develop care plans
* Consult with providers and coordinate care as needed
* Attend clinical team meetings and meet productivity standards
* Encourage clients to express their feelings and develop insight into themselves or their relationships
* Perform crisis interventions and assess for immediate safety concerns
* Guide clients in developing skills or strategies for dealing with identified goals
* Evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing treatment and modify approaches as needed
* Work with family members to support clients or patients
* Maintain awareness of new developments in the field and gather information about community mental health needs or resources

Requirements:

* Current CT LCSW, LPC, or LMFT License issued by DPH
* Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
* Competitive compensation
* GDCHC / CIFC Health is a NACHC approved site, eligible for the submission of loan forgiveness applications
