Job Title: Mechanical Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Lead to join our Buildings Engineering team at Stantec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical engineering projects, including design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that projects are delivered to their satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
