Lead Aircraft Mechanic

STS Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled Lead Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Aircraft Maintenance: Inspect, modify, and repair aircraft at the maintenance base, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Leadership: Lead and guide mechanics on advanced tasks, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical discrepancies and execute repairs of company aircraft, using electronic test equipment and other tools as required.
- Coordination: Coordinate materials and tooling requirements for projected work, ensuring all necessary resources are available.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with Maintenance Control department, ensuring all discrepancies are reported and addressed in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Ensure all aircraft documentation is completed accurately, in accordance with company and FAA procedures.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Line Maintenance on Boeing Aircraft, with at least 1 year of Lead experience.
- Skills: Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Software: Working knowledge of Microsoft software and digital manuals.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in variable weather conditions, with a strong work ethic and organizational skills.
