Join Mattel, Inc Subsidiaries as a Demand Planner and play a key role in aligning, submitting, and tracking performance of DTC customer shipments plans for local fulfillment in EMEA. Coordinate and communicate with Commercial, Financial, and Operational stakeholders to define demand plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with Commercial team to reflect demand plans based on commercial launch dates, product availability, and seasonality in the system.
- Work closely with the Demand Planning team to propose, test, and trial demand planning system enhancements.
- Collaborate with Master Data Management to ensure items are properly created and ready for demand signals.
- Track, communicate, and address outages in forecasting performance for EMEA DTC Demand plans.
- Gather information and reports to support Business cycles (S&OP, Financial Forecasts, S&OE).
- Work with Portfolio Management to confirm product availability timing to reflect accurate customer shipments.
- Identify process issues and work with departments to address them, communicating and escalating accordingly.
- Work closely with Replenishment Planning to identify and communicate outages impacting business plans.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning with a good understanding of Forecasting, Materials Requirements Planning, Distribution, and Supply Planning.
- Anaplan system knowledge preferred but not mandatory.
- Able to communicate changing priorities effectively, identifying and including stakeholders.
- Ability to be a strong advocate for consistency in task approaches, meeting deadlines for project completion.
- Must have strong attention to detail and a holistic approach to support the business.
- Ability to represent the department in meetings and correspondence, requiring a professional demeanor and presentation skills.
- Ability to juggle tasks and priorities, reacting quickly and efficiently to business needs.
- Flexibility in time management and resilience to track product supply within the supply chain.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to exchange pertinent information on a timely basis.
- Demonstrated growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
