Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Master Planner to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost reduction, RFQ, materials, and Master Integrated Planner/Scheduler. This role requires at least 5 years of experience and will play a crucial role in the strategic planning and execution of our projects. The Master Planner will work closely with our engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain detailed master schedules for all ongoing projects, integrating inputs from all project disciplines to ensure a comprehensive plan.
2. Conduct regular reviews of project schedules with project teams, identifying any areas of concern and proposing solutions for any scheduling conflicts.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials and resources are available as per the project schedule.
4. Prepare and manage RFQs, ensuring that they are sent out and received in a timely manner.
5. Implement cost reduction strategies to increase profitability without compromising on quality or timelines.
6. Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring that all potential issues are addressed proactively.
7. Provide regular updates to the management team on project progress, risks, and changes.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
9. Continuously improve planning and scheduling processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning or scheduling role within the engineering industry.
3. Strong knowledge of cost reduction strategies and RFQ processes.
4. Familiarity with materials management and Master Integrated Planner/Scheduler.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
8. Proficient in the use of project management software and tools.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
10. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
