Salary: The hourly salary for this position is estimated to be between $52.00 and $63.00, depending on factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and internal equity.

Job Description:

The Rehabilitation Therapist provides direct patient care and plays a crucial role in maintaining an Eskaton Rehab Center of Excellence. This position requires a skilled professional who can aid in the restoration and enhancement of independent function in individuals whose living status has been compromised by illness and/or injury.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations and set appropriate treatment goals.
  • Provide patient treatments that meet their needs, utilizing current knowledge and adhering to Eskaton Rehab Services' clinical procedures.
  • Document patient information accurately, thoroughly, and clearly, in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payor, and accrediting requirements.
  • Demonstrate an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Contribute to the professional development of self and others.
  • Support the building and maintenance of Eskaton Rehab Services' reputation as a Rehab Center of Excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including discharge planners, physicians, and nursing staff, regarding patient care.
  • Maintain professional development in areas of clinical expertise through continuing education and peer interaction.

Qualifications:

Requirements for this position include a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university, with a Master's Degree or Doctorate preferred. A current Physical Therapist license for the state in which the community is located is also required, along with CPR certification and a current state driver's license (if applicable).

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in physical therapy evaluations and treatments, as well as an understanding of physical modalities and the use of prosthetic devices, ambulatory aides, and assistive and resistive devices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
