Job Summary:

Carrier is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Mechanical Engineer to join our Heat Transfer Group in the Mechanical Center of Excellence. The successful candidate will lead technology development programs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in heat exchanger design and simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage technology development programs and deliver solutions to internal customers.
  • Apply state-of-the-art design and simulation tools to optimize heat exchanger performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in heat exchanger design and simulation tools.
  • Develop, validate, and deploy new heat exchanger technologies.
  • Identify and pursue innovation opportunities to improve efficiency, cost, reliability, and competitiveness of Carrier products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of engineering experience.
  • Master's degree in engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • Ph.D. degree in engineering with 3+ years of engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong modeling and simulation capabilities with a focus on heat exchangers and thermodynamic systems.
  • Experience lending expertise to cross-functional product development teams.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in heat exchanger design and simulation tools.
