As a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer within the Operations Support team, you will collaborate with product owners, technical leads, designers, software developers, and delivery professionals to enhance the automation and API integration journey.

Your role will involve creating software and automated solutions to oversee the lifecycle of infrastructure services as we tackle complex business challenges, deploy innovative products, services, and experiences that delight our clients. In addition to practical experience, you will bring exceptional problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities, along with agile methodologies, strong business acumen, an inclusive leadership mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop automation workflows ensuring that the code adheres to the latest coding standards and industry best practices, utilizing modern design patterns and architectural principles, while actively coding against the project roadmap.
  • Create high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code in compliance with all relevant organizational standards.
  • Establish automation processes for migrating both applications and infrastructure.
  • Implement unit, integration tests, and functional automation, investigating issues identified by quality assurance or product support, and devising solutions to resolve these issues.
  • Design and build RESTful APIs to facilitate automation processes.
  • Utilize programming languages such as NodeJS, Java, Python, and JavaScript to develop advanced application and infrastructure automation solutions.
Skills & Expertise Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to leverage diverse ideas, experiences, and perspectives for the benefit of the organization.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes necessary for making informed decisions within the company's operational context.
  • Willingness to continuously learn new skills and knowledge through self-initiative and addressing challenges.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential. Practical experience with several of the following:

Programming Languages:
Python, JavaScript, PowerShell

  • API development
  • Automated testing, creation, problem-solving, error handling, alerting, and corrective actions
  • Disaster Recovery and High Availability
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Monitoring and logging techniques
