As a member of the Model HD team, you will play a vital role in developing platforms and engines that leverage large-scale distributed data processing technologies to provide highly scalable, elastic, and cloud-based SaaS solutions for detailed risk assessments.


Key Responsibilities:


- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance risk analytics services, engines, and software infrastructure using C#.

- Convert design specifications into actionable development tasks.

- Assist in estimating the effort required to achieve expected deliverables.

- Create comprehensive software design documentation.

- Collaborate with fellow engineers, Product/Project Managers, and Quality Assurance teams to build multi-tiered, multi-layered application frameworks and functional components.


Required Qualifications:

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, C#, or C++.

- Strong analytical computing and algorithmic skills.

- A genuine passion for identifying and solving complex problems.

- Excellent communication abilities with a proven track record of articulating intricate concepts clearly.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields with 8 or more years of relevant industry experience, or a Ph.D. with 5 years of industry experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in distributed or parallel computing.

- Familiarity with relational and big data technologies, as well as batching systems.

- Strong mathematical foundation, including statistics and numerical analysis.

- Knowledge of probabilistic and stochastic computational techniques.

- Experience with data access and computing in highly distributed cloud environments.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Proven experience in developing complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to clients.

- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior software engineers or developers in all facets of their engineering responsibilities.

- Experience in engaging with users, software development teams, and management to gather requirements, outline software product features, and detail technical designs.

For positions based in the United States, the anticipated base salary range for this role is $163,000 to $236,550.00, influenced by factors such as experience, education, skills, and location. This range pertains to a full-time position and includes eligibility for incentive compensation.
