Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for leading and participating in the evaluation and analysis of complex malicious code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in the evaluation and analysis of complex malicious code through the utilization of tools, including dissemblers, debuggers, hex editors, un-packers, virtual machines, and network sniffers.
  • Provide findings in a technical report with details of the malware, identification parameters, advanced capabilities, and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct research in the area of malicious software, vulnerabilities, and exploitation tactics.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in application security, network security, reverse engineering, and malware analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats.
Qualifications
  • Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years of experience with a Master's degree, or 3 years of experience with a Ph.D.
  • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) certification.
  • DoD M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Baseline Certification.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • Strong understanding of Defensive Cyber Operations.
