About the Role
ClarkDietrich is seeking a highly skilled Credit/Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our Corporate Office team in West Chester, Ohio. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of the Credit/Accounts Receivable Department, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our receivables and credit functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Credit/Accounts Receivable team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Conduct credit investigations and collect delinquent accounts, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Review and analyze credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant data to assess credit risk and make informed decisions.
- Establish and maintain credit limits on customer accounts, ensuring alignment with company guidelines.
- Review and approve accounts receivable adjustment batches, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage engineering accounts and ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and submit monthly credit status reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Supervise cash application activity, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented and proficient in Excel, with experience in credit and collections a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred, with relevant work experience in credit and collections.
