We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Property and Casualty Insurance Licensed Sales Representative to join our team at The General Automobile Insurance Services, Inc. This is a primarily home-based position, requiring 80% of your time to be spent working from home, with occasional travel to office locations for team meetings and training.
Key Responsibilities- Quote and sell insurance policy premiums to incoming sales prospects while providing excellent customer service.
- Advise prospects on appropriate insurance coverage and options relative to their circumstances and needs.
- Run reports from multiple systems to verify accuracy of information provided by potential insured regarding insurance and driving history.
- Explain coverage and payment options to customers.
- Service existing customer policies, including policy changes when customer service is not available.
- Follow up on underwriting department requests to ensure policy underwriting adherence and improve retention.
- Attend sales meetings, seminars, or educational activities to stay current with market trends, regulations, and maintain state licensing.
- 6 months retail sales and/or customer service experience.
- Active Property and Casualty License Required.
