Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the daily activities of assigned department, including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a liaison between the assigned department and referring physician's offices.
  • Interview, train, orient, counsel, evaluate, and administer disciplinary action to personnel.
  • Schedule personnel, approve paid time off, and authorize time and attendance.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring capital and operating budgets for cost center.
  • Monitor quality of scans and procedures in department and assist in developing and administering the Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Report on equipment, personnel, and other issues through management team meetings and written reports.
  • Perform the duties and responsibilities of a Technologist (NM, US or IR) as needed.
  • Practice proper safety techniques and report any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to Manager.
  • Demonstrate service excellence behaviors in encounters with all customers, coworkers, patients, visitors, physicians, and auxilians.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the AART.
  • Three years of clinical experience as a Registered Rad Tech.
  • Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. No weekend or on-call requirements.
