Job Description

About Us:

Standard Fiber is seeking a skilled Demand Planning Associate to join our team. As a key member of our production and sales operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring inventory optimization, accurate forecasts, and efficient demand planning.

What You'll Do:

  • Forecasting & Planning: Develop reports and forecasts to inform purchasing decisions and optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production and sales teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Inventory Optimization: Manage inventory levels to balance product availability and minimize stock issues.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes and implement best practices.
  • Order Management: Prepare and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate submission.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced: 1-3 years of experience in demand or material planning, with knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear, concise updates.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and stay organized.
  • Proactive: Eager to identify and implement process improvements.
