About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team at Nextaff. As a Recreation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic recreation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized recreation plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine client functioning levels
  • Provide education and support to clients on injury prevention, treatment, and overall health promotion
  • Stay up-to-date with new treatments and research developments in the field of recreation therapy
Requirements
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Recreation Therapist
  • Certification as a Recreation Therapist by the California Board of Parks or Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification
  • Licenses Required: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
  • Valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
