Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team at Westpark Springs. As a Recreation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing innovative and exceptional care to our patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recreation, music, and art therapies to promote patient engagement and well-being.
  • Conduct group sessions and individual therapy sessions to address patient needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation to support treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Music, or Art Therapy, and relevant licensure in the state of practice.
  • Current CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) certification.
  • Current unencumbered state licensure per state requirements.
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
