About the Role:

Lakeside Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Activity Director to lead our social and recreational programs. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social and recreational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the physical and cognitive abilities of our residents
  • Recruit and manage volunteers to assist with program implementation
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed
  • Communicate with residents, families, and staff to ensure that program goals are met

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of experience conducting social/recreational programs within the past five years
  • Experience with full-time in a resident activities program in a healthcare setting required
