Position Overview:
A healthcare organization based in Lancaster is in search of a skilled Spanish-speaking Pediatrician dedicated to delivering exceptional medical care. The ideal candidate is a flexible and cooperative physician who prioritizes equitable healthcare access for all demographics, particularly those who are underserved or lack insurance. This role encompasses a comprehensive approach to family medicine, addressing the varied health and social requirements of patients.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited medical institution with an MD or DO degree
- Possession of a valid California state medical license
- Completion of an accredited residency in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Current DEA certification
- Board certification or eligibility in primary care
- Current CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care, including preventive services, primary diagnosis, treatment, and inpatient care as necessary.
- Collect and assess patient health histories, documenting findings accurately and systematically.
- Conduct physical examinations, discerning between normal and abnormal findings.
- Provide routine health assessments, diagnostic services, and treatment for illnesses and emergencies.
- Uphold the highest standards of medical ethics.
- Ensure quality care for all patients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
