Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Practice Physician to join our team at Bartz-Altadonna Community Health Center.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that will play a vital role in our primary care program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical services to adult patients, including assessing and diagnosing patients, developing care plans, and providing preventive health maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to national standards of care and BACHC's core values of Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Accountability, and Teamwork.
- Assess medical needs, develop care plans, and provide preventive health maintenance to patients.
- Perform evaluations and treatments in an outpatient clinic setting, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of medical history, exam results, and discussions with patients.
- Review and sign off on laboratory and radiology results, ensuring patient follow-up when necessary.
- Initiate and follow through on specialist referrals, communicating with specialist providers as needed.
- Supervise mid-level providers and meet productivity standards for care providers, including a goal of seeing 16-24 patients daily.
- Participate in care team huddles, provider meetings, and all-staff meetings.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California.
- Board Certification.
- DEA certificate.
- CPR Certification.
- FQHC experience a plus.
- Familiarity with Quality Measures a plus.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
This is a physical position that requires standing on your feet, walking, and ability to lift up to 25lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
Clinic hours are Monday through Saturday, with hours ranging from 7:30am-6:30pm. Work hours will be 40 hours per week, with occasional travel required.
