Position Summary

The Virtually Integrated Care (VIC) model at Dignity Health represents a revolutionary approach to healthcare delivery, offering 24/7 virtual access to experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for both patients and bedside care teams.

As a Virtually Integrated Care RN, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience and supporting the interprofessional care team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating care delivery through virtual technology.
  • Assisting with essential nursing functions to alleviate the workload of frontline teams.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to nursing staff.

Your strong communication skills and positive demeanor will be vital in navigating various patient situations, ensuring that each individual receives the highest standard of care.


Qualifications
Required:
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a licensed nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Proficient in facilitating patient care across various healthcare settings.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Ability to utilize multiple technologies, including audio/visual tools.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months, if applicable.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Preferred:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.

Compensation
