Job Summary

As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives in the extrusion department, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Leadership: Lead quality-related initiatives in the extrusion area, ensuring compliance with IATF and other industry standards.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to optimize extrusion processes, reducing defects and improving overall quality.
  • Project Management: Manage projects related to the implementation of new gaging and inspection methods, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to develop new programs and engineering changes to existing mass production parts.
  • Documentation: Create and revise part control plans, PFMEA, and product quality standards for assigned parts.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members on quality-related topics, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Advanced Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of SPC, IATF, and quality systems and processes.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and strong data analysis skills.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership ability, with the ability to effectively participate and contribute to team projects.
