About the Role:

As a Grader at Intertek, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of agricultural products. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our clients, who rely on us to provide accurate and reliable inspection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections of grains to ensure they meet USDA specifications.
  • Attend to commodity material movements, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Organize and coordinate tasks to ensure efficient service delivery, report submission, and sample collection.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and functional work environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Verify and communicate inspection results, making entries into relevant systems.
  • Assist in the training of less experienced employees, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Work in 12-hour rotating shifts at customer premises, ensuring seamless production flow.
  • Report inspection results promptly to the Control Room staff, facilitating timely decision-making.
  • Carry out responsibilities in a manner demonstrating support for Intertek's Safety Policy, Quality Policy, Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, Vision, and Strategy.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, standing for 70% of the time.
  • Capacity to lift buckets weighing up to 20lbs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
  • Client-focused and quality-driven approach.
  • High level of personal integrity and credibility.
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate.
