Job Summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6, adhering to the highest standards of the profession
  • Implement intervention plans developed by our expert BCBAs, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles
  • Foster strong relationships with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework
  • Engage in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification
Requirements
  • Strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a degree program, with a bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification, with Soar providing paid training
  • Previous experience working with children and a genuine enjoyment of working with them
  • Reliable transportation to both training location and local center, with punctuality being essential
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including sitting and standing frequently, shifting positions quickly, lifting up to 50 lbs., and sitting/kneeling on the floor for extended periods
  • Computer and tablet literacy, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team
