Behavioral Health Technician Job Description

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team in Tempe, Arizona.

Job Summary

We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children with autism and their families. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in our mission-driven care model, working closely with our expert BCBAs to implement intervention plans and provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement ABA therapy plans in our clinic, adhering to the highest standards of the profession
  • Foster strong relationships with families, keeping them updated on their child's progress within the ABA framework
  • Engage in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification
Qualifications
  • Strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a degree program, with a bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification, with Soar providing paid training
  • Previous experience working with children and a genuine enjoyment of working with them
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation to both training location and local center, with punctuality being essential
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
