Soar Autism Center is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to provide high-quality care to children with autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to strict standards of care.
  • Communicate effectively with families in both English and Spanish, providing bilingual support during family meetings.
  • Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert BCBAs, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development, staying updated with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish (Proficiency Test required for additional pay increase).
  • Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (Soar will provide paid training).
  • Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children.
  • Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential.
  • Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client.
  • Ability to work on a team.
