The Pharmacy Operations Support Specialist role is responsible for assisting our pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing inventory management. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in office software—particularly Microsoft Excel.
About You:We are looking for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in pharmacy operations and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries, processing transactions, and resolving concerns in a professional manner.
- Oversee inventory levels, perform regular stock audits, and use Microsoft Excel to track supplies and reorder medications as needed.
- Data Management & Reporting: Utilize Excel to create and maintain reports related to inventory, insurance claims, and other operational data. Analyze trends and assist in improving operational efficiency.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.
- Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred, with an emphasis on operational support.
- $62,000 - $70,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
