Acute Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Acute Care RN to join our team at Amedisys, a leading provider of home health and hospice care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families by providing high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Administer medications, obtain blood samples, and provide therapeutic interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and self-care techniques.
- Monitor patient progress, identify changes in condition, and revise care plans as needed.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and care coordination details in a timely and accurate manner.
- Associate of Science in nursing degree.
- Current RN license in good standing, specific to the state(s) assigned.
- At least one year of adult acute inpatient medical or medical/surgical care experience within the last five years.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bachelor of Science in nursing degree.
- Experience providing RN services in the home, community, or clinic setting.
- Adult medical critical care experience.
