ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care for Elderly (ACE) team in Newark, Delaware.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled RN to provide high-quality care to older adults in our ACE unit. As a member of our team, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver care that supports patients facing acute illness.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to 5 medical patients per shift
  • Work collaboratively with a unit-based Nurse Practitioner, attending and consulted physicians, a pharmacy, a physical therapist, and other assistive personnel
  • Engage in a relationship-based care model, building relationships with patients and families, as well as with your peers
Requirements
  • Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License
  • BSN required; ADN candidates must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hire date
  • One year of experience as an RN
  • Gerontology Certification preferred
  • BLS required
