The Maintenance Technician III plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of our facility systems and equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, electrical distribution, and safety systems.
This position involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinating with internal and external resources to maintain efficient system operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair a wide range of facility equipment, including refrigeration systems, HVAC units, boilers, and electrical distribution systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Participate in emergency response and contribute to the facility's overall operational excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- State of New Jersey licenses for hazardous refrigeration and high-pressure steam systems required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Knowledge of equipment setup, functions, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industrial utility systems and best practices in maintenance and safety management.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation processes/procedures, and HACCP.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements related to plant and utilities systems' operations, safety, and environmental agencies.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
12-hour shift (6:00 pm - 6:00 am)
