Job Summary

RadiFi Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Member Success Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our branch network, you will serve as a resource for new and existing member account and loan needs, as well as teller transaction requirements. This role requires a strong consultative approach to promote, refer, and cross-sell Credit Union products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of all Credit Union deposit and loan products/services to provide expert guidance to members.
  • Interview members/prospects to present RadiFi products and services that meet their financial needs, and effectively sell and cross-sell Credit Union products and services.
  • Assist in the growth of business lines that require referrals, such as Investment Services, Mortgages, and Business Services, and meet assigned referral goals.
  • Open all types of new accounts, complete necessary paperwork, and verify that all ratios are within Credit Union guidelines.
  • Conduct loan interviews in a consultative manner, obtain new or updated credit history, financial data, and any necessary information for a sound loan decision, and originate and close all Loan Types.
  • Explain and sell all payment protection products to members, ensuring they understand the benefits of the product.
  • Verify that all paperwork necessary to act on a loan is complete and available to underwriters, and ensure quality assurance of new accounts and new loans, and proper archiving of all records and documentation.
  • Attend outside business development activities and sales prospecting events as assigned, and conduct outbound calling campaigns and sales calls as assigned.
  • Act as a branch subject matter expert (SME) on all loan and deposit products, and be an expert in all of the Credit Union's product offerings, assisting members with the creation and maintenance of their online profiles.
  • Assist Member Success Advocates I and II with questions and any issues that arise, and be a mentor for these roles in cross-selling techniques and applying RadiFi service and sales standards.
  • Perform a broad variety of member service, account opening, and loan processes, and follow member service procedures and standards to ensure consistency and the highest quality service is met.
Requirements
  • 6-12 months of similar or related experience, with consumer loan experience required.
  • A high school degree or GED is required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for this role.
  • Ability to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard, and proficiency in Microsoft products.
  • Ability to learn new systems and adapt quickly to changing technology.

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with members and colleagues. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on customer service and sales.
