Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager/Senior Trainer to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for military personnel, focusing on logistics and property management, as well as operations at division or higher levels.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Manage and coordinate training events, including logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including military leaders and training personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to security clearances and certifications.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in training management, logistics, and operations, with a focus on military training and operations.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective training programs, with a focus on logistics and property management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, education, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as business administration, education, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a military or government environment, with a focus on training and operations.
  • Experience working with Army Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) and other relevant training programs.
